THE TEAM

We believe that Jesus is our source of healing and that our bodies were created to heal themselves in remarkable ways, in an environment that addresses the root cause, while caring for the body, soul and spirit. Our goal is for our patients to experience wellness as the life of abundance that Jesus offers us, that is rooted in a holistic, transcendent, and sustainable peace in body, soul, and spirit.

Amber Gentry and Dr. Chika Okoli

I’m Dr. Chika. I’m a functional medicine doctor who is experiencing holistic healing from not only autoimmune conditions but also from years long soul and spirit ties that were sabotaging my health goals. Despite the best education in evidence based medicine and extreme discipline, I was stressing myself sick, empty, constantly searching for answers, and without a sense of peace or fulfillment, all while thinking I was “fine”, “successful” and that the roller-coaster I was on was what life was supposed to be like. Through the process we will be incorporated at Re-well, I re-defined what it looked like for me to be well, have experienced peace like never before, and now know that Jesus created our bodies to heal in remarkable ways.

Therefore, He is our source.

And I’m Amber. I’m a Holistic Health Coach who is passionate about seeing the Church lead the way in revolutionizing healthcare, via holistic, Functional Medicine. As I have served in various Christian churches and ministries for 20 years, and I have found that there is a disconnect between how we care for our bodies and how we care for our souls + spirits. As a result, we are suffering from disease and disorders that could be prevented and can be healed from. I have found that too often people misdiagnose the root of their health issue: whether it be depression, relationship turmoil, spiritual neglect, or physical suffering. Through health coaching, I have seen people powerfully heal from disease and disorder by caring deeply for their bodies, souls + spirits, and aligning their habits and practices with the truth.
